i installed it in windows platform and the tutorial is all about checking xampp etc in linux only. what is the short cut key to open terninal to prompt comment in windows.

There are other ways through which you can open the Terminal.
- Like, in Windows 8, right-click on the Windows icon in the left bottom corner.
- Click on 'Run'
- Here, type cmd.exe
This will open up the command prompt / terminal.
